Dalam laporannya, media Tribunnews<\/strong> memberitakan bahwa Tribunnews.COM, SETIABUDI – Cegah kecacatan akibat komplikasi, PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) bersama Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) menggelar kegiatan sosial bertajuk ‘Program Deteksi Dini pada Tulang Lutut Penyandang Thalasemia’ di Hotel Mercure, Jalan Gatot Subroto, Setiabudi, Jakarta Selatan.<\/p>\n

Kegiatan yang digelar selama dua hari, yakni 16-17 Oktober 2021 itu, Insght turut menggandeng Yayasan Thalasemia Indonesia (YTI), Sahabat Thalasemia Indonesia, serta Perhimpunan Subspesialis Radiologi Anak Indonesia (PSRAI).<\/p>\n

Kegiatan turut dihadiri Koordinator Corporate Social Responsbility (CSR) PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT)Suluh Tripambudi Rahardjo, Anggota Dewan Pembina YIIM DR. Mery T.P. Hutagalung.<\/p>\n

Selanjutnya Sekretaris Pengurus YIIM Dewi Astari, Ketua Dewan Pembina YTI Ruswandi, Ketua PSRAI Prof. Dr. dr Ristaniah D. Soetikno, M. Kes, Sp. Rad. (K).<\/p>\n

Kemudian anggota PSRAI dr Damayanti Sekarsari, M.Pd Ked., Sp. Rad (K) dan dr Tigor Yehezkiel Sp. Rad serta dokter pemeriksa dalam program ini.<\/p>\n

Manager Program YIIM , Ahmad Fanani Rosyidi mengungkapkan, tujuan kegiatan untuk mencegah resiko kecacatan akibat komplikasi penyakit bagi penyandang thalasemia.<\/p>\n

Selain itu untuk melakukan pencegahan kelainan sendi dan tulang akibat terapi deferiprone jangka panjang pada penyandang thalasemia mayor.<\/p>\n

Sebab diketahui, thalasemia adalah kondisi kelainan darah yang diturunkan dari salah satu atau kedua orang tua kepada anak, Sehingga membuat penyandangnya mengalami anemia atau kurang darah.<\/p>\n

Keluhan yang dirasakan penyandang adalah cepat lelah, mudah mengantuk, hingga sesak nafas.<\/p>\n
