{"id":12876,"date":"2021-10-19T05:17:20","date_gmt":"2021-10-18T22:17:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/yiim.or.id\/free-early-detection-program-for-bone-and-knee-joint-damage-for-50-children-with-thalassemia-major\/"},"modified":"2021-10-19T05:17:20","modified_gmt":"2021-10-18T22:17:20","slug":"free-early-detection-program-for-bone-and-knee-joint-damage-for-50-children-with-thalassemia-major","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/yiim.or.id\/en\/free-early-detection-program-for-bone-and-knee-joint-damage-for-50-children-with-thalassemia-major\/","title":{"rendered":"Free Early Detection Program for Bone and Knee Joint Damage for 50 Children with Thalassemia Major"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) (INSIGHT) melalui program Tanggung Jawab Sosial perusahaan menggandeng Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), Yayasan Thalasemia Indonesia (YTI), Sahabat Thalasemia Indonesia, serta Perhimpunan Subspesialis Radiologi Anak Indonesia (PSRAI), secara bersama-sama menyelenggarakan acara &#8220;<strong>Program Deteksi Dini Pada Lutut Penyandang Thalasemia<\/strong>&#8221; di Hotel Mercure pada hari sabtu dan minggu tanggal 16-17 Oktober 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Acara ini selaras dengan agenda Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (Sustainable Development Goals\/SDGs) nomor 3 tentang kesehatan yang baik dan kesejahteraan dan nomor 17 tentang kemitraan untuk mencapai tujuan bersama.<\/p>\n<p>Thalasemia adalah kondisi kelainan darah yang diturunkan dari salah satu atau kedua orang tua kepada si anak, yang membuat penyandangnnya mengalami anemia atau kurang darah. Keluhan yang dirasakan penyandang adalah cepat lelah, mudah mengantuk, hingga sesak nafas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tujuan dari diadakan acara ini adalah melakukan upaya deteksi dini bagi penyandang thalasemia untuk mencegah resiko kecacatan akibat komplikasi penyakit dan melakukan pencegahan kelainan sendir dan tulang akibat terapi <em>deferiprone<\/em> jangka panjang pada penyandang thalasemia mayor.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dalam seremoni pembukaan acara dihadiri oleh perwakilan mitra penyelenggara antara lain; Suluh Tripambudi Rahardjo, Koordinator Corporate Social Responsbility (CSR) PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT); DR. Mery T.P. Hutagalung, anggota dewan Pembina YIIM; Dewi Astari, Sekretaris Pengurus YIIM; Ruswandi; Ketua Dewan Pembina YTI; Prof. Dr. dr Ristaniah D. Soetikno, M. Kes, Sp. Rad. (K), Ketua PSRAI; dr Damayanti Sekarsari, M.Pd Ked., Sp. Rad (K), anggota PSRAI; dan dr Tigor Yehezkiel Sp. Rad, anggota PSRAI dan sekaligus dokter pemeriksa dalam program ini.<\/p>\n<p>Dalam pembukaan acara Suluh Tripambudi Rahardjo menyampaikan <strong><em>&#8220;Acara program deteksi dini pada tulang lutut penyandang thalasemia ini sesuai dengan komitmen perusahaan kami yaitu transforming investments into social impact. Sambil berinvestasi di produk kami, para investor juga diajak untuk memberikan dampak sosial. Semoga program ini dapat menginspirasi dan memberikan dampak baik yang nyata&#8221; <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Selain itu dari dr Tigor Yehezkiel Sp. Rad. selaku dokter yang bertanggungjawab sebagai pemeriksa menyampaikan <strong><em>&#8220;Thalasemia merupakan penyakit paling sering terjadi dan menyebar secara massif di Indonesia. Saat ini d<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>eteksi dini <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>kerusakan sendi dan <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>tulang <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>akibat komplikasi<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em>t<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>halassemia memerlukan biaya yang tinggi. Hal ini, yang menjadi concern <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>saya u<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>ntuk membuktikan bahwa<\/em><\/strong><strong><em> alat<\/em><\/strong><strong><em> USG dapat menjadi a<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>l<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>ternatif pilihan untuk mendeteksi dini kelainan <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>ini dengan sensitifitas serta spesifisitas yang tinggi disertai harga yang terjangkau agar masyarakat yang kurang mampu secara ekonomi dapat terbantu&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lebih lanjut Dewi Astari, Sekretaris pengurus YIIM, berharap program ini dapat membantu keluarga dan penyandang thalasemia yang kurang mampu secara ekonomi, mengingat biaya kesehatan pemeriksaan yang sangat mahal dibebankan oleh keluarga penyandang.<\/p>\n<p>Acara ini berlangsung dengan baik. Dokter pemeriksa yang langsung menangani adalah dr Tigor Yehezkiel Sp. Rad dan dibantu oleh DR Merry T.P Hutagalung. Kegiatan program pemeriksaan ini dilaksanakan selama 2 hari berturut-turut di Hotel Mercure Jakarta Gatot Subroto, yang ditujukan kepada 50 anak dengan kriteria usia 2-17 tahun penyandang tahalasemia mayor.<\/p>\n<p>Pada hari pertama Sabtu 16 Oktober 2021 dokter memeriksa lutut 24 pasien anak asal dari 3 (tiga) Rumah Sakit (RS) yaitu RS Harapan Bunda Pasar Rebo, RS Hermina Jatinegara, RSUP Fatmawati. Pada hari kedua Minggu 17 Oktober 2021 pemeriksaan bagi 25 pasien anak asal dari 2 (dua) RS yaitu RS Harapan Kita Slipi dan RS Hermina Kemayoran.<\/p>\n<p>Selama proses pemeriksaan, penerima manfaat para anak penyandang thalasemia didampingi langsung oleh wali atau orang tua pasien. Setelah pemeriksaan setiap seluruh penerima manfaat mendapatkan hasil pemeriksaan berupa ekspertise USG serta saran dokter, hasil swab antigen, dan makanan sehat.<\/p>\n<p><em>Salam
