Global economic conditions are unstable. Even though the pandemic is starting to subside, several countries are currently experiencing an economic crisis. Where food prices start to rise, so do the prices of energy needs, such as vehicle fuel.<\/p>\n
If it cannot be controlled properly, the world’s economic conditions will decline further. In fact, the issue of a recession in the coming year is a concern in itself.<\/p>\n
Recession is considered a dark cloud in the economy of every country. Because this condition disrupts economic stability not only for the country but also for society as individuals. Primarily, it can disrupt social welfare at the community level.<\/p>\n
Deputy Head of Retail Sales at PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), Alifah Ghina Maharani, said that everyone needs to prepare themselves to face the threat of a recession. He said this in a financial literacy seminar with the theme ‘Investment Strategy in Facing the Threat of Economic Recession in 2023’.<\/p>\n
“Facing an economic recession in 2023, we need to be wiser in planning our finances. One of them is investing in a safe platform,” he said, quoted from Antara, Friday (23\/12).<\/p>\n
The Chancellor of Bung Karno University (UBK), Didik Suhariyanto, said that with the threat of an economic recession in 2023, it is necessary to increase economic independence and be able to adapt to the surrounding environment.<\/p>\n
“We need to increase economic independence and be able to adapt. Apart from that, we need to plan our personal finances more wisely and we need to jointly supervise the government and private sector in the ongoing investment process in Indonesia,” he said.<\/p>\n
Strengthening the Role of Facing the Economic Recession This seminar is the result of collaboration between PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) (Insight) with Bung Karno University (UBK) (UBK) and the Indonesian Inspiration for Building Foundation (YIIM) to strengthen financial literacy through investment to face the threat of an economic recession in 2023.<\/p>\n
Didik Suhariyanto said that the academic community or a group of people involved in academic activities could strengthen their role in dealing with the economic recession.<\/p>\n
“It is important for the academic community at Bung Karno University (UBK) to strengthen their role in advancing the economy in Indonesia in facing the challenges of the economic recession in 2023,” said Didik Suhariyanto. [idr]<\/p>\n
