KBRN, Jakarta: In commemoration of National Children’s Day (HAN) 2022, the Indonesian Building Inspiration Foundation (YIIM) together with PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) (INSIGHT) are holding a social and humanitarian program to provide educational and social tools.<\/p>\n
Assistance is provided for children with disabilities, rare diseases, children of scavengers, street children, children of fishermen and children from underprivileged communities.<\/p>\n
Chairman of the YIIM Management, Chrisbiantoro, revealed that this assistance program will be implemented from July 22 to early August 2022. According to Chris, the total educational and social aid distributed to beneficiaries amounted to 295 aid packages.<\/p>\n
“Consisting of 236 educational aid packages in the form of stationery, notebooks, drawing books, drawing pencils, children’s snacks and children’s story books,” he said in a statement received by RRI, Tuesday (2\/8\/2022).<\/p>\n
“Then, 20 social assistance packages for children’s health in the form of UHT milk, children’s diapers, dry wipes, wet wipes, biscuits and 36 social assistance packages in the form of children’s milk and children’s snacks.”<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the Director of PT Insight, Ria M. Warganda, explained that the provision of educational and health social assistance which was held to commemorate HAN 2022 was in line with the social responsibility consistently carried out by Insight.<\/p>\n
“On the occasion of National Children’s Day 2022, Insight and YIIM provided social assistance with a total of 292 education and health packages to children with cancer, disabilities, street children, children of scavengers and fishermen in five locations spread across Jakarta and Bekasi,” he said.<\/p>\n
“This social assistance is a form of Insight’s consistency in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end hunger, eradicate all forms of poverty and ensure quality education that is appropriate and inclusive as well as encouraging learning opportunities for everyone, especially children in need,” added Ria.<\/p>\n
Ria also hopes that Indonesian children will continue to maintain their enthusiasm for learning despite all their limitations.<\/p>\n
The assistance was distributed to five regional points in the Special Capital Region (DKI) Jakarta province, including 50 child education assistance packages and 20 social assistance packages for 27 child cancer patients assisted by the Laskar Apheresis Sharing Foundation (YLAB) at the Darmais Cancer Hospital, West Jakarta.<\/p>\n
Then, 50 packages of children’s education assistance to 50 children of scavenger residents assisted by Pelangi Semesta Alam Kindergarten in the Bantar Gebang Waste Disposal Area, Bekasi, West Java.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, 36 packages of children’s education assistance and 36 social packages in the form of milk and snacks to 36 children with disabilities and rare diseases assisted by the Indonesian Rare Disorder Community in the South Jakarta area.<\/p>\n
Then, 50 packages of children’s education assistance to 50 street children and children of scavengers in the Keramat Jati area, East Jakarta, accompanied by Rumah Langit Baru in the Keramat Jati area, East Jakarta.<\/p>\n
Finally, 50 packages of children’s education assistance to 50 children of Kaliadem Traditional Fishermen, Muara Angke, North Jakarta.<\/p>\n
“This program is in line with the agenda for sustainable development goals (SDGs) number 3 concerning healthy and prosperous lives and number 4 quality education,” added Chrisbiantoro.<\/p>\n
Through this synergy and initiative, the Indonesian Inspiration for Building Foundation (YIIM) hopes that the programs implemented can provide real benefits, open up wider opportunities for independence for participants, and actively contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<\/p>\n
