The Indonesian Inspiration for Building Foundation (YIIM) together with PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) (INSIGHT) are always committed to supporting the strengthening of community independence through a series of inclusive and sustainable empowerment initiatives.<\/p>\n
A total of 213 residents affected by COVID-19 in the DKI Jakarta area received assistance with business equipment and funds from the Indonesia Building Inspiration Foundation (YIIM) and PT Insight Investment Management.<\/p>\n
“We are consistently guided by the spirit of sustainable development goals, especially stimulating the economic sector through community empowerment and during the pandemic we can ease the burden on affected communities,” said YIIM Chairman Chrisbiantoro in Jakarta, Friday.<\/p>\n
Starting from July 2020 to November 2020, during the Covid 19 Pandemic, YIIM provided business equipment grants for alumni of the social entrepreneurship program.<\/p>\n
Grant assistance is provided to entrepreneurship training alumni who meet the criteria according to the trainer’s recommendations and assessment scores during the training.<\/p>\n
Grant assistance is provided by taking into account a number of indicators, including results during training, participant development and entrepreneurial plans that have been outlined in the proposals they submit to YIIM.<\/p>\n
Grant assistance is provided to residents of the Correctional Center (Bapas) (Bapas), underprivileged communities, employees who have been laid off and casual workers.<\/p>\n
Entrepreneurship grant assistance is not in the form of money, but business tools, such as AC repair washing equipment, coffee business equipment, screen printing, culinary cooking equipment and hair shaving equipment.<\/p>\n
All entrepreneurship training is held at the YIIM office in the Gran Wijaya Ruko Complex, South Jakarta.<\/p>\n
So far, YIIM and PT Insight have created entrepreneurs including 70 baristas for culinary and various cake training, 47 small culinary and various cake traders, seven barbers, three clothing screen printing businesses and seven AC cleaning service businesses.<\/p>\n
These entrepreneurial alumni are already running businesses and are spread across several areas in Jakarta, Bogor, Bekasi and Depok.<\/p>\n
Apart from that, YIIM and PT Insight also distributed social assistance for the daily needs of 79 orphaned and poor students at the Daarut Tarbiyah Nusantara Islamic Boarding School in Kapuk Muara Village, Penjaringan District, North Jakarta.<\/p>\n
Representative of PT Insight Dwi Laksmi Anggita Sari, said that the assistance was a form of community contribution to stimulate the economy, especially small businesses which are being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n
Through this synergy and initiative, the Indonesian Inspiration for Building Foundation (YIIM) hopes that the programs implemented can provide real benefits, open up wider opportunities for independence for participants, and actively contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<\/p>\n
