, JAKARTA \u2013 The social service held by the Indonesia Building Inspiration Foundation (YIIM) together with PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) continues.<\/p>\n
This time, the distribution of aid in the form of basic necessities, vitamins, masks and personal protective equipment for medical personnel was distributed throughout September 2020 to early November 2020.<\/p>\n
The distribution of aid was revealed by the Chairman of the YIIM Management, Chrisbiantoro, to be carried out in stages in a number of corners of the archipelago.<\/p>\n
He explained that assistance was given to communities that had not been touched, starting from underprivileged communities, workers affected by layoffs and indigenous communities.<\/p>\n
Therefore, he continued, YIIM collaborates with local partners in each region to participate in collecting data and help distribute aid directly so that it is right on target.<\/p>\n
“This activity is a manifestation of YIIM and PT Insight’s commitment to help ease the burden on communities affected by Covid-19,” said Chrisbiantoro in a written broadcast on Wednesday (4\/11\/2020).<\/p>\n
The basic food aid packages distributed consisted of basic necessities such as rice, oil, sugar, instant noodles, coffee, tea, biscuits, salt, eggs, milk and cooking oil and added with vitamins to maintain the body’s immune system amidst the Covid 19 pandemic.<\/p>\n
He further explained that the aid distributed included 100 packages for indigenous Papuans in Ifale village, Sentani District; 150 packages for indigenous Papuan people in the Wamena City district, Papua.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, 100 packages for people in Pulau Batu District, Nias, North Sumatra; 100 packages for residents of Sigar Penjalin Village and Sigerongan Village, North Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province.<\/p>\n
Then assistance for 16 children at the Gloria Matahit Orphanage in Talaud Regency, North Sulawesi, namely assistance in the form of basic food packages, packages of toiletries such as shampoo, soap, detergent.<\/p>\n
Apart from that, first aid and vitamin packages, school equipment packages, such as school bags, books, socks, rulers, pencil cases and their contents as well as fans and operational costs for the orphanage for a month.<\/p>\n
“We also distributed 100 packages to the Dayak indigenous community in Tering Baru Village and Kalian Luar Village, West Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan province, 573 packages to flood, tsunami and earthquake victims in Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi and PPE assistance to 160 medical personnel at the Wisma Atlit Kemayoran Emergency Hospital, Jakarta,” he explained.<\/p>\n
Other aid distribution was also carried out through the delivery of 100 packages to the people of the Talepud-Pujung Kaja-Sebatu Traditional Village, Tegallalang District, Gianyar Regency, Bali.<\/p>\n
Then, as many as 100 packages for the community in four sub-districts, namely Godang, Ngambarkulon, Ngambarwetan, Ngunut, Mbawang and Pojok; 150 Packages for victims of human rights violations under the auspices of the Aceh Province Truth and Reconciliation Commission.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, there are 100 packages for people in North Wasilei, North Maluku Province and 75 packages for people in Lembata and Ende Flores, East Nusa Tenggara.<\/p>\n
“This assistance is a manifestation of our commitment to jointly strengthen communities affected by Covid 19, hopefully this pandemic will pass quickly and this nation will quickly return to its normal activities,” said Chrisbiantoro.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, representative of PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), Dwi Laksmi Anggita Sari hopes that assistance can help residents amidst a number of limitations during the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n
Previously, his party carried out a series of social services to tackle the Covid-19 pandemic in the form of distributing 5000 masks, 1000 pieces of PPE, vitamins and internet quota assistance for teaching teachers in 13 schools in Jabodetabek.<\/p>\n
