The Indonesian Inspiration for Building Foundation (YIIM) and PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) distributed assistance to overcome COVID-19 for medical personnel and affected communities.<\/p>\n
“The assistance provided is in the form of 1,000 personal protective equipment (PPE), IDR 100 million in cash, hundreds of boxes of rice and clothes, 5,000 cloth masks, as well as hundreds of basic food and vitamin packages,” said YIIM Chairman Chrisbiantoro, in Jakarta, Saturday.<\/p>\n
PPE assistance was handed over on Friday (10\/4) to representatives of Dr. National Central General Hospital. Cipto Mangunkusumo, RSPI Sulianti Saroso, Sumber Waras Hospital, National Brain Center Hospital and Friendship Hospital.<\/p>\n
Cash assistance for the procurement of PPE was handed over through the Indonesian Hospital Association (PERSI) worth IDR 100 million.<\/p>\n
Other assistance that was also distributed was 120 rice boxes for volunteers and 100 t-shirts for change of clothes for South Jakarta Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) volunteers.<\/p>\n
Then procure 5,000 cloth masks which were ordered through MSME tailors and will be distributed to underprivileged communities and informal workers.<\/p>\n
In addition, 280 packages of packaged rice and 120 packages of basic necessities and vitamin C for the community and informal workers affected by Corona will be distributed in several areas, including Jagakarsa, Margonda Depok, Pasar Senen, Benhil, Karet, Palmerah, Rawasari, Cempaka Putih, Tanjung Priok and Pasar Kosambi.<\/p>\n
“We hope that the assistance we provide will be useful for medical personnel, especially those on the front line, as well as affected communities in general,” said Chrisbiantoro.<\/p>\n
Chris is optimistic that aid raised collaboratively by all components of the nation can speed up the resolution of the COVID-19 outbreak.<\/p>\n
Insight Investments Management representative, Suluh T Rahardjo, said this assistance was his party’s commitment to tackling COVID-19.<\/p>\n
This series of assistance is a continuation of the previous aid package distributed by YIIM and Insight on March 24 2020 in the form of procurement of disinfectants through PMI South Jakarta and BAZNAS for spraying places of worship and public facilities.<\/p>\n
Then on April 1 and 2 2020, YIIM and Insight again distributed aid in the form of distributing 300 packages of rice and 100 basic food packages to the community and informal workers affected by the corona virus in several areas of Jakarta, Bekasi and Depok.<\/p>\n
“We are synergizing with the government in the context of implementing Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) by distributing aid packages to help medical personnel, volunteers and ease the burden on the community,” said Suluh.<\/p>\n
