together with PT Insight Investment Management again held training for assisted residents, urban poor groups, casual workers and other disadvantaged communities.<\/p>\n
This time, the training was held in two training sessions.<\/p>\n
The first training consisted of training on washing, servicing and filling AC freon at the YIIM Office in the Gran Wijaya Center Complex, Jalan Wijaya II Blok F\/62 B, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta which was held for two days, starting from March 4-6 2020.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the second training took the form of screen printing training which was held at the Central Jakarta Correctional Center (Bapas) I Office, Jalan Printing State VIII Number 54 Rawasari, Central Jakarta from March 9-13 2020.<\/p>\n
Chairman of the YIIM Management, Chrisbiantoro, said that the training was a development of training that had been held previously by his party, such as hair shaving, cooking and barista training.<\/p>\n
Because, in line with the government’s program on sustainable development, especially eradicating poverty and reducing social inequality, according to him, business training is very necessary.<\/p>\n
“Economic empowerment is part of human rights, especially the right to work and a decent life as mandated in the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights,” he said in a written broadcast on Wednesday (11\/3\/2020).<\/p>\n
He further stated that during the training, the participants were seen following every trainer’s instructions.<\/p>\n
In the AC training led by AC instructor Suaib, participants were explained in detail about theory and practice starting from detecting AC damage and replacing freon.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, in the screen printing training led by instructor Risky Pratama, participants were explained the stages of screen printing, starting from mixing paint, production mechanisms to producing good quality screen printing.<\/p>\n
AC and screen printing training was chosen by YIIM because it provides prospects for small communities to become independent and has good market potential.<\/p>\n
“The participants showed their seriousness in pursuing entrepreneurship and were determined to use the knowledge they gained as preparation for starting a business,” he said.<\/p>\n
He believes that the more beneficiaries who are assisted through the economic empowerment training programs that have been running since 2016, the more entrepreneurs from small communities will help stimulate economic growth.<\/p>\n
“So far, there have been quite a lot of alumni of the economic empowerment training held by YIIM who have started independent businesses,” said Chrisbiantoro.<\/p>\n
“Hopefully more and more people will be inspired and moved to help small and disadvantaged communities to get a better and more decent life,” he concluded.<\/p>\n
