Dalam laporannya, media ANTARA<\/strong> memberitakan bahwa lembaga nirlaba Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) memberdayakan calon pemangkas rambut (barber) melalui pelatihan untuk meningkatkan ekonomi kemasyarakatan.<\/p>\n

“Pelatihan calon barber kelompok pertama pada tahun 2020 sebanyak 15 orang,” kata Ketua Pengurus YMII, Chrisbiantoro Dewi Astari di Jakarta, Selasa.<\/p>\n

Chrisbiantoro mengatakan pelatihan calon barber itu diikuti berbagai latar belakang seperti pemuda putus sekolah, pekerja serabutan, pengangguran, dan mantan warga binaan Balai Pemasyarakatan Jakarta Pusat.<\/p>\n

Diungkapkan Chrisbiantoro, YIIM menggandeng PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) sebagai mitra utama untuk berkontribusi memberdayakan perekonomian selaras dengan program pembangunan berkelanjutan.<\/p>\n

“Khususnya untuk tujuan pertama penghapusan kemiskinan dan sasaran ke delapan tentang pertumbuhan ekonomi,” ujar Chrisbiantoro.<\/p>\n

Program pembangunan berkelanjutan itu sesuai Peraturan Presiden (Perpres) Nomor 59 Tahun 2017 tentang Pelaksanaan Pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan.<\/p>\n

Chrisbiantoro menyatakan profesi barber merupakan salah satu pemberdayaan masyarakat perkotaan untuk menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan.<\/p>\n

Salah satu pemateri pangkas rambut, Syaifulloh memberikan arahan dan penjelasan mengenai teknik memotong rambut, serta mengenali jenis rambut.<\/p>\n

Usai mendapatkan pelatihan, para peserta akan mengikuti program magang selama dua bulan dan pembinaan selama tiga bulan di barbershop milik YMII di kawasan Jakarta Barat, serta Beji, Depok.<\/p>\n
