The Indonesian Inspiration Building Foundation (YIIM) and PT Insight Investments Management, in collaboration with Project on the Moves (PROMS), conducted a comprehensive coastal conservation initiative at Pangumbahan Turtle Beach, Ujung Genteng, Sukabumi Regency, West Java.<\/p>\n
The program focused on protecting the nesting habitat of endangered green sea turtles (Chelonia mydas<\/em>) through coastal vegetation replanting, beach clean-up drives, and educational outreach on marine turtle conservation for coastal communities and local youth.<\/p>\n During the event, participants planted hundreds of native coastal barrier trees\u2014including sea pandanus and casuarina trees\u2014to prevent beach erosion and protect turtle nesting zones.
