On Saturday, March 11, 2023, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), supported by PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), in collaboration with the Coordinating Body of Majelis Taklim of the Indonesian Mosque Council (BKMM-DMI) of Bekasi City, held an Official Opening Ceremony for their Social Entrepreneurship Training Partnership Program dedicated to majelis taklim women members and underprivileged communities across Bekasi City.<\/p>\n
The opening ceremony took place from 09:00 to 11:00 WIB at the Bekasi City Ministry of Religious Affairs Hall on Jalan Ahmad Yani, RT 04\/RW 05, Marga Jaya, South Bekasi, Bekasi City, West Java Province. The event was attended by 150 women participants from local majelis taklim congregational study groups, alongside distinguished guests from government ministries and civil society leadership. Following the ceremonial opening, the agenda transitioned directly into an intensive, hands-on Pastry and Cake Baking Training running until 17:00 WIB. Led by master instructors Riccana Rosita and Nur Hayati, the inaugural session trained participants in artisanal rolled pineapple tart (nastar gulung) and contemporary refrigerated dessert box confectionery.<\/p>\n
The gathering brought together key regional stakeholders, including Chrisbiantoro, Chairman of the Board of YIIM; Isnaeni Setiawan, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Coordinator of PT Insight Investments Management; Suwarti, Chairperson of BKMM Bekasi City; K.H. Jaja Djaelani, Chairman of the Indonesian Mosque Council (DMI) of Bekasi City; Yayan Mulyana, Head of the Bekasi City Cooperatives and Small-Medium Enterprises Office (Diskop UKM); Ella, representing the Bekasi City Manpower Office; and Wiwiek Hilwia Arif, Chairperson of the Women’s Organizations Association (GOW) of Bekasi City.<\/p>\n
Delivering his opening address, Chairman of YIIM Chrisbiantoro conveyed deep gratitude: “We at YIIM express our deepest thanks for the trust placed in us by BKMM Bekasi City to collaborate alongside PT INSIGHT in empowering congregational members and vulnerable families. We hope this inaugural training batch produces resilient new entrepreneurs. Together, we want to fortify our MSMEs, recognizing that historical experience shows MSMEs are Indonesia’s economic saviors during challenging financial times.”<\/p>\n
PT Insight Investments Management CSR Coordinator, Isnaeni Setiawan, reinforced the firm’s sustainable social mission: “Today marks the formal commencement of our social entrepreneurship training partnership with BKMM Bekasi, starting with culinary arts. This strategic cooperation among YIIM, PT INSIGHT, and BKMM Bekasi City is designed as a continuous 2023 community empowerment pipeline, comprising pastry and cake baking workshops, frozen food processing, sewing and tailoring classes, foundational leadership training, and public speaking courses.<\/p>\n
The program aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), notably SDG 1: No Poverty, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.<\/p>\n
