Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), in collaboration with PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) and the Berdikari Bangun Bangsa Foundation (Yayasan Berdikari Bangun Bangsa \/ YBBB), held a Grand Harvest Ceremony for Bucket Catfish Farming (Budidaya Ikan Lele dalam Ember \/ Budikdamber) on Saturday, October 29, 2022. This inaugural harvest celebrated the success of an urban aquaculture empowerment program situated in RT 02\/RW 09, Sasak Panjang Village, Tajurhalang District, Bogor Regency, West Java. The event represented the culmination of the Budikdamber training course initially conducted on June 21, 2022.<\/p>\n
This household food security initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), notably SDG 1 (No Poverty) and SDG 2 (Zero Hunger, Achieving Food Security and Improved Nutrition).<\/p>\n
The communal harvest followed five months of careful cultivation by participating households. The intervention supported four underprivileged residents of RT 02\/RW 09 in Sasak Panjang Village, each receiving 60 high-quality catfish fingerlings, along with a complete urban farming kit comprising cultivation buckets, water management fittings, and high-protein fish feed.<\/p>\n
The harvest ceremony was attended by Achmad Fanani Rosyidi, Program Manager of YIIM; Rizky, representing Yayasan Berdikari Bangun Bangsa; and Jumeno, representing local beneficiary residents of RT 02\/RW 09, Sasak Panjang Village.<\/p>\n
Expressing corporate support, Suluh T. Rahardjo, CSR Coordinator of PT INSIGHT, noted: "We are grateful for the opportunity to share tangible benefits with our disadvantaged community members. We hope this harvest delivers real blessings, reinforcing the dietary and economic resilience of participating families.
