Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) alongside PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), in collaboration with the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI), organized a comprehensive social and educational assistance program for Uways Al Qorni Islamic Boarding School and the community of Tanjung Balam Village, Kampar Regency, Riau Province, on October 14, 2022.<\/p>\n
This social and educational initiative aligns closely with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 4 (Quality Education), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).<\/p>\n
YIIM and INSIGHT delivered aid to Uways Al Qorni Islamic Boarding School, located on Jalan H. Usman, Kubang Jaya Village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. The handover gathering was attended by boarding school representatives, including Ustadz Abdul Malik as Chairman of the Foundation, Ustadz Sirjon Al-Fatih as Head of the Boarding School, as well as 25 male and 25 female students (santri).<\/p>\n
The assistance provided by YIIM and INSIGHT to Uways Al Qorni Islamic Boarding School comprised a basic food parcel valued at IDR 4,000,000\u2014containing rice, instant noodles, cooking oil, sugar, tea, coffee, eggs, sweet soy sauce, flour, sweetened condensed milk, and canned sardines\u2014alongside a worship and educational equipment package valued at IDR 4,000,000, consisting of prayer rugs, prayer caps (peci), adult and children’s prayer gowns (mukena), sarongs, copies of the Holy Qur’an, religious books, and whiteboards.<\/p>\n
On the same day, YIIM and INSIGHT extended essential support to the community library in Tanjung Balam Village, Teratak Bulu District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. The event was attended by Mr. Heru as Head of Hamlet 3, Oka as General Chairperson of HIPMI Pekanbaru, and local elementary school children from grades 1 through 4.<\/p>\n
The contribution for the community library included a book package valued at IDR 3,000,000\u2014comprising novels, children’s readers, storybooks, drawing books, religious texts, and thematic schoolbooks\u2014as well as 75 children’s gift parcels filled with boxed milk, biscuits, jelly snacks, and stationery kits (drawing books, notebooks, pencils, pens, and colored pencils). The event was further enlivened with engaging games and educational quizzes for local children, supported by student volunteers from Generasi Baru Indonesia (GENBI) Riau and HMI Kohati Pekanbaru Branch.<\/p>\n
The social and educational outreach was attended in person by Mr. Suluh Tripambudi Rahardjo, CSR Coordinator of PT Insight Investments Management, and Mrs. Riccana Rosita, Treasurer of the Board of Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM).<\/p>\n
On this occasion, CSR Coordinator of PT Insight Investments Management, Mr. Suluh Tripambudi Rahardjo, expressed:<\/p>\n
