The Indonesia Building Inspiration Foundation (YIIM) collaborates with the Baitulmaal Muamalat Foundation, through the Humanitarian and Religious Social Program supported by PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), playing an active role in providing humanitarian and religious social support. One of them is providing support for clean water through the construction of drilled wells at the Miftahul Ibtida Islamic Boarding School, Mekar Baru Village, Kopo District, Serang Regency, Banten Province. This clean water facility requires attention because it is often hit by drought during the dry season, and this Islamic boarding school still does not have an independent clean water facility. Every day the students from the Miftahul Ibtida Islamic Boarding School have to ride to the Ustadz’s private well and often experience damage due to the age of the well.

The Miftahul Ibtida Islamic Boarding School is inhabited by 60 students who live permanently and dozens of others who commute home and a total of 100 beneficiaries. With this amount, the need for clean water is often not met, especially when the dry season hits. Therefore, the construction of clean water wells built by the Indonesian Inspiration Building Foundation together with the Baitulmaal Muamalat Foundation and supported by PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), is expected to be the right solution to overcome the shortage of clean water. It is also hoped that the construction of this clean water well will benefit not only the students, but all elements of society within the Miftahul Ibtida Islamic Boarding School environment.

The process of working on the clean water well began on November 12 2024 and was completed on December 19 2024. The Indonesian Inspiration Foundation for Building together with the Baitulmaal Muamalat Foundation and supported by PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) has provided assistance with a clean water well consisting of a water tower along with a tower and water machine, a toilet with a size of 5×3 meters and a place for ablution with 3 water taps. Maintenance of the drilled well, including machinery and electricity supply, will be the responsibility of the Islamic boarding school administrators.

This program supports one of the government’s three priority programs, namely superior Human Resources (HR), where access to clean water and adequate sanitation are key factors determining the quality of a person’s health. This program is also in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDGs no. 3 concerning health, namely ensuring healthy living and improving health/well-being at all ages and SDGs no. 6 ensuring the availability and sustainable management of clean water and sanitation for all and SDGs no. 17 concerning partnerships to achieve goals.

YIIM is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people from various circles, founded by social and humanitarian activists. To realize this goal, YIIM is open and open to all forms of cooperation, support and donations from all groups so that it can be distributed to beneficiaries in need.
