On Wednesday, February 28 2024, the Indonesia Building Inspiration Foundation (YIIM) supported by PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) (INSIGHT) held a social entrepreneurship training program in baking<\/em> making pastry skills for underprivileged communities and friends with disabilities.<\/p>\n

The training is baking<\/em> batch<\/em> 1 part of a series of cooking skills social entrepreneurship training which YIIM and INSIGHT plan to hold in stages with 3 batches<\/em> training. This training teaches skills in making florentine cakes and peanut balls.<\/p>\n

The total number of participants who took part was 12 people consisting of 6 people from underprivileged community backgrounds, 4 people from former residents assisted by BAPAS Central Jakarta community clients, and 2 people from friends with hearing impairments. In this training, the material taught includes an introduction to entrepreneurship and micro-small scale business permits, an introduction to tools and materials, practice of making cakes, calculating the cost of goods sold (HPP), and a question and answer discussion.<\/p>\n

The training event was held at the Indonesian Building Inspiration Foundation Office located at Jalan Grand Wijaya Center Blok F\/62B, RT.6\/RW.1, Pulo Village, Kebayoran Baru District, South Jakarta City, Special Capital Region of Jakarta, which was held from 10.00 WIB to 15.30 WIB. The trainers for baking training are Mrs. Ambar Yuliasiwi as the main trainer and Mrs. Umaroch as the assistant trainer.<\/p>\n

In this event, an opening activity was held which was attended by Mr. Chrisbiantoro as Chairman of the YIIM Management, Mr. Isnaeni Setiawan as Coordinator of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), and Mrs. Riccana Rosita as Treasurer of the YIIM Management.<\/p>\n

The activity began with opening remarks from Mr. Chrisbiantoro as Chairman of the YIIM Management. He said, “We YIIM have been established for 10 years and one of our flagship programs is social entrepreneurship training with various skills, one of which is baking skills. During this time we are also supported by our partner PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) in organizing these programs. We hope that the participants can make good use of this training to gain knowledge, experience and apply it by becoming independent entrepreneurs”<\/em><\/p>\n

Then Mr. Isnaeni Setiawan as the CSR Coordinator of PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) on this occasion said, “The history of PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) is that we are an investment and mutual fund sales company which also provides opportunities for investors to invest and share goodness through our CSR program. According to the tagline, investments to social impact invite people to invest while having a social impact on society. Together with YIIM, we consistently hold CSR activities so that we can have a real impact on community independence.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Furthermore, Mrs. Elly Widiyawati, one of the training participants, said, “Thank you to YIIM and PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) for providing baking skills training to us. Hopefully this training can provide knowledge and inspiration for us so we can become more independent”<\/em><\/p>\n

This activity is in line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Number 1 concerning fighting poverty, Number 8 concerning decent work and economic growth, and Number 17 concerning partnerships to achieve the goals.<\/p>\n

As a non-profit organization, YIIM is very open to all parties who wish to support or make donations in any form. Because every donation given to YIIM will be distributed directly to the rightful beneficiaries.<\/p>\n
