On Saturday, December 21, 2024, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), in collaboration with its primary partner PT Insight Investments Management (Insight IM) and the Mosque Prosperity Council (BKM) of Masjid Raya Al Insan Jakarta, organized a Mass Circumcision program. This social initiative is part of YIIM’s Humanitarian, Social, and Religious Program.<\/p>\n
Through this collaboration, YIIM and Insight IM provided medical team service funding for the mass circumcision program, catering to orphaned, disadvantaged, and underprivileged children as well as general community members. This activity exemplifies Insight IM’s social care and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment entrusted to YIIM to assist underprivileged families in the Kebayoran Lama District. It also reinforces Insight IM’s dedication as an investment management firm that actively transforms investment potential into tangible social impacts, notably through the healthcare pillar established with YIIM.<\/p>\n
The mass circumcision took place in the main hall of Masjid Raya Al Insan, Jalan Patal Senayan 1, Kebayoran Lama District, South Jakarta. Commencing at 08:00 AM Western Indonesia Time (WIB) with participant registration, the event proceeded with a solemn recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. Welcoming remarks were then delivered by Mr. Ari Kuncoro, Head of the Mosque Prosperity Council (BKM) of Masjid Raya Al Insan.<\/p>\n
In his opening address, Ari Kuncoro conveyed his deep appreciation: “We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Insight IM and YIIM for supporting this event and entrusting their benevolent contributions to us. This mass circumcision is an annual flagship program conducted by Masjid Raya Al Insan for underprivileged families and orphaned dhuafa children. May this initiative bring profound benefits to every child present, and may the donors be abundantly rewarded for their benevolence today.”<\/p>\n
Following the ceremonial opening, the medical circumcision procedures commenced. A total of 50 children aged 4 to 14 received direct benefits from this healthcare initiative. Medical procedures were executed in partnership with PT Sunat Modern Indonesia and the Regional Executive Board (DPW) of APPMI Jakarta (Association of Indonesian Modern Circumcision Practitioners). The procedure utilized the modern super ring method, renowned for its swift execution, minimal pain, and significantly reduced bleeding risk. A team of 20 healthcare professionals was deployed to ensure all procedures remained safe, hygienic, and child-friendly. Upon completion of the procedure, each child was presented with post-circumcision medication along with a celebratory goodie bag.<\/p>\n
Expressing deep gratitude, the parent of young participant Abdullah shared that the assistance provided by YIIM and Insight IM greatly eased their financial burden, as financial constraints had previously hindered them from circumcising their son. This program strongly aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3: Ensuring Healthy Lives and Promoting Well-Being for All at All Ages.<\/p>\n
YIIM together with Insight IM remains steadfast in its dedication to spreading inspiration and compassion across Indonesia. It is hoped that this humanitarian outreach will inspire society at large to foster solidarity and extend a helping hand to those in need.<\/p>\n
