On July 27 2023, the Indonesian Building Inspiration Foundation (YIIM) which is supported by PT. Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) holds a social humanitarian program to assist economic empowerment for underprivileged friends with disabilities. YIIM and INSIGHT provide economic empowerment support through assistance with living costs and business assistance with credit agents and online transactions.<\/p>\n
Brother A. Yandi Dhimaz Permana Putra (31 years old) or usually called Putra is a disabled person (walks using both hands) since the age of two due to polio, he does not have a permanent job<\/p>\n
His daily activities include being in the Al-Bina Mosque, GBK Senayan Complex, Central Jakarta to simply help tidy up the sandals of the congregation and earn a living wage which is used to support his living expenses.<\/p>\n
Due to his physical limitations, his son’s brother must still earn money to support his life and that of his mother in the village. Putra’s routine expenses are to pay rent for a residence on Jl. Ciledug Raya, Kel. Ululjami, District. Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta, eating and drinking as well as transportation from the boarding house to the Al-Bina Mosque.<\/p>\n
After receiving assistance from YIIM and INSIGHT, Putra now has a credit and online transaction agent business Putra Cell<\/strong>. He promoted this business online via the Whatsapp application and offline around the boarding house and in the Al-Bina Mosque area. In a day, Putra can serve six to seven purchasing transactions. Putra’s previous work experience and physical condition have not dampened his intention and enthusiasm to improve his fate to make it even better.<\/p>\n Assistance was provided directly by Mr. Isnaeni Setiawan as CSR Coordinator of PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT). On this occasion Mr. Isnaeni said: “PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) according to its tagline investments to social impact invites people to invest while having a social impact on society. We together with YIIM consistently hold activities like this so that CSR funds can have a real impact on community independence.”<\/em><\/p>\n Putra also said “Thank you to YIIM and INSIGHT for the assistance provided. Thanks to this assistance, I can now be independent and can help my family in the village. I am also increasingly motivated to be able to help people with the limitations that I have. Hopefully YIIM and INSIGHT will be more successful and continue to spread inspiration to help other friends with disabilities who are less fortunate.”<\/em><\/p>\n The YIIM and INSIGHT programs can be examples for the community as investment managers and institutions that care about community welfare. This assistance is also in line with the sustainable development goal agenda (Sustainable Development Goals\/SDGs<\/em>) Number 1 concerning ending poverty and number 3 concerning healthy and prosperous living.
