{"id":9169,"date":"2025-08-28T07:17:29","date_gmt":"2025-08-28T00:17:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/yiim.or.id\/planting-800-avocado-trees-in-jabungan-semarang-through-youth-for-climate-action\/"},"modified":"2025-08-28T07:17:29","modified_gmt":"2025-08-28T00:17:29","slug":"planting-800-avocado-trees-in-jabungan-semarang-through-youth-for-climate-action","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/yiim.or.id\/en\/planting-800-avocado-trees-in-jabungan-semarang-through-youth-for-climate-action\/","title":{"rendered":"Planting 800 Avocado Trees in Jabungan Semarang Through Youth for Climate Action"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sebagai tindak lanjut from rangkaian program Youth for Climate Action (Y4CA) Batch 2, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) bersama PT Insight Investments Management berkolaborasi dengan LindungiHutan melaksanakan kegiatan penanaman 800 pohon alpukat pada 20 Agustus 2025 in Kelurahan Jabungan, Kecamatan Banyumanik, Kota Semarang.<\/p>\n<p>Mengangkat tema &#8220;Empowering Youth, Greening the Future&#8221;, Y4CA Batch 2 tidak hanya menghadirkan ruang dialog and edukasi, tetapi juga mengajak generasi muda and berbagai pemangku kepentingan for melakukan aksi nyata mitigasi. Tree Planting Initiative ini menjadi simbol kontribusi peserta and mitra program dalam membangun kesadaran lingkungan serta mewujudkan aksi keberlanjutan bersama.<\/p>\n<p>Dalam kegiatan ini, tercatat 800 pohon alpukat tertanam dengan total estimasi serapan karbon sebesar 6 kg CO\u2082e (pada usia tanam). Pohon alpukat dipilih karena memiliki manfaat ekologis and ekonomi: membantu menyerap karbon, menjaga kestabilan tanah for mencegah longsor, sekaligus memberikan nilai tambah ekonomi for masyarakat melalui hasil panen buah.<\/p>\n<p>Selain manfaat ekologis, kegiatan ini juga memberi dampak sosial-ekonomi nyata for masyarakat. Tercatat akan adanya peningkatan pendapatan petani hingga 23%, penciptaan lapangan kerja baru, serta manfaat lingkungan yang.303 warga in sekitar wilayah Jabungan.<\/p>\n<p>Melalui aksi ini, YIIM membuktikan melalui program Y4CA, bahwa keterlibatan generasi muda and kolaborasi lintas sektor dapat menciptakan solusi keberlanjutan yang berkelanjutan and berdampak luas.<\/p>\n<p>Aksi Tree Planting Initiative Y4CA Batch 2 juga mendukung, khususnya:<\/p>\n<p>SDG 13: Penanganan Perubahan Iklim SDG 15: Kehidupan in Darat SDG 8: Pekerjaan Layak and Pertumbuhan Ekonomi SDG 1: Tanpa Kemiskinan<\/p>\n<p>YIIM akan terus Fostering kolaborasi dengan berbagai pihak, sektor swasta, komunitas, and generasi muda for memperluas dampak lingkungan, sosial, and ekonomi melalui
