This program is one of the community economic empowerment programs which aims to improve the economy of underprivileged communities. This program is in line with the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (<em>Sustainable Development Goals\/SDGs)<\/em>especially SDGs number 1 concerning ending poverty and number 2 concerning ending hunger.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Irma is a single parent. Currently, Mrs. Irma lives with her five children and parents in a house in the Cileungsi area, Bogor. In her daily life, Mrs. Irma is a housewife who focuses on taking care of her children.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Starting from a hobby to becoming a main job<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Irma first entered the world of make-up in 2016. When she was young, Mrs. Irma liked to dress up. This pleasure made Mrs. Irma learn about the world of cosmetology. He studied autodidactically, and also by attending various seminars and workshops, one of which was cosmetology training organized by YIIM and PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT).<\/p>\n<p>By participating in training organized by YIIM and PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), Ms. Irma&#8217;s make-up technique has increasingly developed and has encouraged Ms. Irma to learn and be enthusiastic about opening a make-up service. Mrs. Irma slowly started to become a make-up artist, starting in her home environment. The first time Mrs. Irma earned IDR 500,000 for bridal make-up. This first experience became one of the marketing strategies for Mrs. Irma&#8217;s services so that her services were widely known. This job also becomes Mrs. Irma&#8217;s main income to meet the needs of her and her family.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Business is Increasingly Expanding and Developing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Feeling unsatisfied, Mrs. Irma continued to learn how to apply make-up. Now, Mrs. Irma is increasingly developing by getting work as a make-up service in various areas, namely Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) and Yogyakarta. Not only is she a freelance worker, Mrs. Irma is also often offered work by vendors and studios.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, Mrs. Irma gets work as a bridal make-up artist for 4-5 people\/month and a graduation make-up artist for more than 10 people\/month. Now Mrs. Irma&#8217;s average net income during the month is IDR 10,000,000. Also, Mrs. Irma is currently working with 2 assistants.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Irma&#8217;s enthusiasm to make her dreams come true is something young people should emulate, there is no giving up to make a dream come true.
