Air-Conditioning Support Improves Comfort at Al-Ikhlash Mosque
A new air-conditioning unit improves facilities for approximately 1,000 worshippers and visitors who use Al-Ikhlash Mosque in South Jakarta.
On 19 September 2023, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) and PT Insight Investments Management donated one air-conditioning unit to Masjid Al-Ikhlash in Jatipadang, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta.
The assistance formed part of YIIM’s Social, Humanitarian, and Religious program and Insight’s corporate social and environmental responsibility commitment.
The new unit strengthened the mosque’s facilities and created a more comfortable environment for worship, religious teaching, and services for the congregation. Approximately 1,000 worshippers and visitors were expected to benefit.
Fadjar Kamdiya, representing the management of Masjid Al-Ikhlash, thanked YIIM and Insight for supporting the mosque’s infrastructure. He expressed hope that the donors would receive blessings for their contribution.
By responding to a specific facility need, the program helped the mosque provide better service to a large community of users. It also demonstrated cooperation between a nonprofit organization, a responsible investment company, and local religious administrators.
The initiative contributes to SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals. YIIM and Insight reaffirmed their commitment to extend useful support to communities across Indonesia and hoped the donation would inspire others to share resources for public benefit.
