YIIM alumni clean air-conditioning units at Mushola Darussalam

On Tuesday, 4 March 2025, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), supported by PT Insight Investments Management, began its GEMPITA Ramadan series with free air-conditioning cleaning at Musholla Darussalam.

The prayer facility is located in Gang Moncokerto 2, Jalan Kayu Manis Timur, RT 14/RW 13, Utan Kayu Selatan, Matraman, East Jakarta, in a densely populated neighbourhood.

YIIM worked with a training alumnus to clean three air-conditioning units owned by the mosque, all of which had been donated by residents. Members of the Musholla Darussalam management committee accompanied the work and used the service activity as an opportunity to exchange experience, introduce the technical process, and encourage further community service.

The cleaning process lasted three hours. H. Legitriyanto, representing the mosque committee, thanked YIIM, its team, and Insight for sharing support during Ramadan and expressed the hope that their kindness would be rewarded.

The initiative made the prayer space more comfortable for worshippers during the fasting month. It also gave a vocational-training alumnus an opportunity to apply technical skills for social and religious benefit.

The activity was the opening part of the 2025 GEMPITA Ramadan series, which was planned for several locations in Jakarta and Bogor Regency. At that stage, the assistance included free cleaning and servicing of air-conditioning systems in prayer rooms and mosques.

The program contributes to SDG 1: No Poverty and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals. Through collaboration with training alumni and local mosque management, YIIM and Insight sought to extend practical assistance while inspiring wider participation in community service.

Salam Inspirasi!
