Qurban Support Provides Nutritious Meals for Orphans and Low-Income Families
YIIM and Insight distributed qurban meat from one cow to 180 beneficiaries in Bogor and South Jakarta, supporting food access for orphans and low-income families.

On 7 June 2025, in observance of Eid al-Adha, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), through its Social, Humanitarian, and Religious program supported by PT Insight Investments Management, distributed qurban meat with assistance from Yayasan Al-Maghfirah BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.
YIIM and Insight donated one cow weighing between 410 and 500 kilograms. The animal was processed at Amanah Bersama Agro slaughterhouse in Bekasi, a facility certified halal by the Indonesian Ulema Council and operating to national standards.
A total of 180 orphans and low-income residents received meat. Distribution reached 140 beneficiaries through Ar-Rohmat Orphan Foundation in Parakan Kembang, Pasir Jambu Village, Sukaraja District, Bogor Regency, West Java. A further 40 beneficiaries lived in Karet Semanggi, South Jakarta.
Farid Nur Iman, Chair of the organizing committee, explained that Qurban Hebat Al-Maghfirah had been an annual slaughtering and meat-distribution program since 2019. He thanked YIIM and Insight for donating the cow, which brought happiness to students and disadvantaged residents, and offered his best wishes to both organizations.
The activity represented Insight’s corporate social and environmental responsibility commitment. It also reflected concern for the welfare and nutrition of orphans, particularly during the Eid al-Adha celebration.
By working through an experienced partner and a certified slaughterhouse, the program combined responsible handling with targeted distribution to vulnerable communities in two locations. It contributes to SDG 2: Zero Hunger.
YIIM hoped the initiative would strengthen the spirit of sharing and mutual cooperation and inspire more people to support social action that creates tangible benefits for others.
Salam Inspirasi!
