Emergency Logistics Reach Flood-Affected Families in Aceh Tamiang
YIIM and Insight Investments Management delivered food and cleaning supplies to flood-affected residents of Dusun Setia with support from Basecamp Solidaritas Indonesia and local volunteers.

Severe flooding across parts of Sumatra disrupted daily life, inundated homes, and restricted access to food and hygiene supplies. Dusun Setia in Kesehatan Village, Aceh Tamiang Regency, was among the communities affected.
In response, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), with support from PT Insight Investments Management, delivered food logistics and cleaning supplies on 19 December 2025. The assistance was intended to reduce immediate hardship and support residents during the first stage of recovery.
Distribution was coordinated with Basecamp Solidaritas Indonesia, local volunteers, and community figures. Assistance was directed through the home of Ibu Iyet, a resident recognized for sheltering and helping approximately 30–50 people during earlier flooding. As she remained displaced in Paya Bedi Village, the supplies were received by her brother, Jamil.
The initiative demonstrated the importance of targeted coordination during emergencies so limited resources reach people who need them most. Food supported basic nutrition, while cleaning equipment helped families restore safer and healthier living conditions.
The response contributed to SDG 2: Zero Hunger, SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, and SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities by supporting essential needs, hygiene, and community resilience after a disaster.
Salam Inspirasi!
