Medical-Team Support Enables Mass Circumcision for 47 Children
Forty-seven children from vulnerable families received circumcision services, medicine, and care from a 25-person medical team in Kebayoran Lama.

On Sunday, 17 December 2023, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) and PT Insight Investments Management funded medical-team services for a mass circumcision program organized by the Welfare Board of Masjid Raya Al Insan in Jakarta.
The activity formed part of YIIM’s social, humanitarian, and religious program and Insight’s corporate social and environmental responsibility commitment. It supported orphans and children from low-income families in Kebayoran Lama and contributed to SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
The event began at 8:30 a.m. in the hall of Masjid Raya Al Insan on Jalan Patal Senayan 1, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta. After re-registration, 47 children between the ages of 2 and 13 received the service.
The program opened with a recitation from the Quran. Ari Kuncoro, Chair of the mosque’s Welfare Board, explained that the annual activity served orphans and low-income families. He thanked YIIM and Insight for their support and expressed hope that the assistance would benefit the children and bring good to the donors.
Isnaeni Setiawan, CSR Coordinator at Insight, attended on behalf of the company. He explained that the activity reflected Insight’s objective of transforming investment into social impact and formed part of its health-program pillar with YIIM. He hoped Insight could continue creating wider community benefits.
The medical procedure was delivered in collaboration with Al-Malik Home Care & Khitan Center and Smart Khitan. The team used a super-ring method designed for a faster procedure with a lower risk of bleeding.
Twenty-five health workers supported the program, and nine treatment cubicles were prepared to serve participants efficiently. After completing the procedure, each child received medicine and a goodie bag.
Through the collaboration, YIIM and Insight reaffirmed their commitment to expanding access to health and humanitarian support while encouraging more people and institutions to share resources with communities in need.
Salam Inspirasi!
