Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Indonesia Building Inspiration Foundation (YIIM) organizes entrepreneurship training involving underprivileged communities and vulnerable groups.
“Our flagship program, which we often highlight now, is community empowerment,” said YIIM Chairman Chrisbiantoro when explaining YIIM’s performance, Tuesday.
Chris explained that the community empowerment in question is holding training for professional coffee servers (baristas), frozen food making, barbers, cooking, AC cleaning, screen printing, cosmetology and urban agriculture, and what has just been held is motorbike washing (steam).
Apart from that, the foundation also provides entrepreneurial management training such as how to think and behave entrepreneurially, carry out business innovation, understand digital marketing, financial management, and help obtain legality for MSMEs.
To date, YIIM has had 2,616 alumni trained since community empowerment began in 2018, spread throughout Jakarta and other cities in Indonesia.
Some of them already have their own businesses or are entrepreneurs, others work using the skills they have been taught.
Those who receive empowerment are underprivileged residents, community members or workers who have been laid off, single parents (mothers) who do not have a job.
Then there are also ex-convicts, both general and terrorist convicts, victims and families of victims of criminal acts of human rights violations, teenagers who have dropped out of school and friends with disabilities.

Through this synergy and initiative, the Indonesian Inspiration for Building Foundation (YIIM) hopes that the programs implemented can provide real benefits, open up wider opportunities for independence for participants, and actively contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
*Inspiration Greetings!*
