The Indonesian Inspiration for Building Foundation (YIIM) is always committed to supporting the strengthening of community independence through a series of inclusive and sustainable empowerment initiatives.

The Indonesian Inspiration for Building Foundation (YIIM), in collaboration with the Papuan Justice and Human Integrity Foundation, has distributed basic food aid, vitamins and masks for residents affected by Covid 19 to residents of Wamena, Wamena City Village, Wamena City District, Jayawijaya Regency, Papua Province.

“The aid received today is around 150 people and 150 packages, including rice, supermi, sauris, milk, eggs, soy sauce, biscuits, salt, Vetsin, sugar, coffee, masks and others.” said Theo Hesegem as Executive Director of YKKMP (21/10/2020) at the aid handover ceremony.

In handing over this aid was distributed to betel nut sellers, vegetable sellers, widowed mothers and children. Starting at 9:00 WIT, and finishing at 12:30 WIT, YKKMP took place in Wamena.

Hesegem, also a global human rights defender, said that when the distribution was over, they returned to their respective homes in a row.
