The Indonesian Inspiration for Building Foundation (YIIM) through social funds from PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) is determined to create change and improve social welfare through its flagship entrepreneurial empowerment program.

On Thursday 13 January 2022 Collie F. Brown as UNODC Indonesia Country Manager and Liaison to ASEAN, visited the office of the Indonesian Inspiration Building Foundation in order to discuss and see the entrepreneurial economic empowerment process for correctional inmates which has been carried out by the Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) since 2018.

The Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) is supported by PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) through one of its superior programs, namely providing educational scholarship assistance.

In line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) agenda number 1 concerning ending poverty in all forms and number 8, namely supporting sustainable, inclusive economic growth and a productive and decent workforce, the Indonesian Inspiration Building Foundation (YIIM) and PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) Investment Management continue to strive to contribute to helping communities in need to become empowered.

Commitment to Sustainable Development Goals In ensuring equal distribution of an independent economy, the Indonesian Inspiration for Building Foundation (YIIM) supported by PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) provides entrepreneurship training for vulnerable communities, one of which is people who have experienced layoffs, especially underprivileged communities.

LPSK RI together with UNODC and YIIM held online and offline social entrepreneurship training for coffee baristas and frozen food cooks, followed by an internship program at Kedai Kopi Inspirasi for witnesses and survivors of cross-regional terrorism.

In its report, ANTARA News media reported that PT Pertamina Training & Consulting (PTC), which is a subsidiary of Pertamina, is collaborating with the Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) to distribute aid for barista business equipment and farming for hydroponic vegetables for alumni participating in entrepreneurship class training.

The Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) together with PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) distributed 150 basic food packages, hundreds of packed rice, cloth masks and t-shirts for informal workers, as well as providing medical treatment assistance for toddlers suffering from scoliosis.

In its report, ANTARA News media reported that hundreds of housewives, people with disabilities, and workers affected by layoffs (PHK) received capital assistance for business equipment.

YIIM supported by PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) distributed internet quota subsidies for teaching teachers as well as stationery packages and reading books for students undergoing distance learning during the pandemic.
