On 8 December 2023, CT ARSA Foundation, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), and PT Insight Investments Management held Eco Festival Kamal 2023 in Kamal, West Jakarta. The festival, themed Strong in Literacy, Protect the Earth, concluded the Petualangan ARSA program.

The event showcased work created by children and community members through workshops, an exhibition, a bazaar, and artistic performances. Petualangan ARSA combined science and environmental literacy with community training and empowerment to build awareness and encourage more environmentally responsible behaviour.

Program activities taught residents to turn used cooking oil into soap, produce eco-enzyme, grow plants through hydroponics, and transform discarded materials into products with new value and function. The festival allowed participants to present what they had learned and demonstrate tangible results.

A representative of the Kamal reading garden expressed hope that collaboration among CT ARSA Foundation, YIIM, and Insight would continue. The representative encouraged children and residents to maintain their enthusiasm, innovate, and work together for a more sustainable future.

At the bazaar, children managed stands displaying creative products made during the program. They also practiced social entrepreneurship by printing photographs and selling frames produced from reused materials.

The festival closed with a performance of the Red Lips Dance, a creative piece incorporating traditional Betawi elements. Two pairs of child representatives performed the dance, adding local artistic expression and collaboration to the closing program.

Through environmental skills, entrepreneurship practice, and cultural performance, Eco Festival Kamal gave children a public platform for learning and creativity while encouraging the community to protect both its environment and cultural heritage.
