, JAKARTA – PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) (Insight) is collaborating with Bung Karno University (UBK) (UBK) and the Indonesia Building Inspiration Foundation (YIIM) to strengthen financial literacy through investment to face the threat of an economic recession in 2023.

Deputy Head of Retail Sales PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) Alifah Ghina Maharani said the financial literacy seminar with the theme “Investment Strategy in Facing the Threat of Economic Recession in 2023” was a form of commitment to investing for social impact.

“Facing an economic recession in 2023, we need to be wiser in planning our finances. One of them is investing in a safe platform,” he said, quoted by Antara, Friday (23/12).

This activity was opened by conducting coffee barista demo skills training by making an espresso coffee menu.

The Chancellor of Bung Karno University (UBK), Didik Suhariyanto, said that the academic community or a group of people involved in academic activities could strengthen their role in dealing with the economic recession.

“It is important for the academic community at Bung Karno University (UBK) to strengthen their role in advancing the economy in Indonesia in facing the challenges of the economic recession in 2023,” said Didik Suhariyanto.

Didik said that with the threat of an economic recession in 2023, it is necessary to increase economic independence and be able to adapt to the surrounding environment.

“We need to increase our economic independence and be able to adapt. Apart from that, we need to be wiser in planning our personal finances and we need to jointly supervise the government and private sector in the ongoing investment process in Indonesia,” he said.

This program is in line with Sustainable Development Goals (TPB) number 4 concerning quality education, number 8 concerning decent work and economic growth and number 17 concerning partnerships to achieve the goals. (antara/jpnn)
