, KEBAYORAN BARU – The Indonesian Inspiration for Building Foundation (YIIM) together with PT Insight Investment (IIM) are working to advance culinary Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

YIIM Secretary Dewi Astari said that culinary MSMEs could be an alternative business during the Covid-19 pandemic.

He explained that the efforts made by his party were to compile a collection of culinary recipes.

YIIM and PT IIM also held an online discussion event, as well as launching a culinary recipe book.

“The background for making this recipe collection book is to inspire people to make culinary businesses an alternative business,” said Dewi in a written statement in Jakarta, Thursday (1/4/2021).

From 2018 to 2020, Dewi revealed that YIIM had held culinary entrepreneurship training.

“Thanks to this culinary training, YIIM has succeeded in producing 56 small entrepreneurs in the culinary sector,” he said.

Meanwhile, Director of PT IIM Ria Meristika Warganda said the Covid-19 pandemic does not only concern health issues.

More than that, Ria said the Covid-19 pandemic had an impact on global economic problems.

“MSMEs are one of the components for advancing the economy of small communities,” said Ria.
