The Indonesian Inspiration for Building Foundation (YIIM) together with PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) (INSIGHT) are always committed to supporting the strengthening of community independence through a series of inclusive and sustainable empowerment initiatives.

The Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) (LPSK) received assistance for children affected by COVID-19 in Jakarta from the Indonesian Inspiration for Building Foundation (YIIM).

Assistance in the form of books, stationery, masks and hand sanitizer was received from YIIM supported by main partner PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT).

The assistance was handed over directly by the YIIM Management to the beneficiaries witnessed by the Chairman of LPSK Hasto Atmojo Suroyo, at the LPSK Office on Jl. Raya Bogor, Ciracas, East Jakarta, Wednesday.

“Thank you to YIIM and PT. Insight Investments Management for being willing to support the psychosocial assistance program for LPSK protected children. This is in accordance with SDGs Number 16 to strengthen state institutions,” said LPSK Chairman Hasto Atmojo Suroyo in a written statement.

He continued regarding the background of the beneficiaries being protected children victims of violence who received a psychosocial rehabilitation program from LSPK.

“Hopefully this collaboration will continue and provide benefits for those protected under the auspices of LPSK,” said Hasto Atmojo Suroyo.

The distribution of aid was carried out in two stages, for the first stage there were 10 children who received assistance, from Kindergarten (TK) to General High School (SMU) levels spread across the Jakarta and Kalimantan areas.

Then for the second stage, 36 children will be given a similar package to support teaching and learning and health protocols to prevent transmission of the COVID-19 virus.

Chairman of the YIIM Board, Chrisbiantoro, said that throughout last year his party had distributed aid in the form of basic necessities in 20 provinces.

“Throughout 2020, YIIM and PT. Insight were recorded as having distributed basic necessities to 5,855 people in 20 provinces. Then assistance for personal protective equipment (PPE) in the form of masks, PPE for medical personnel, vitamins and disinfectants for 1953 people,” said Chrisbiantoro.

Through this synergy and initiative, the Indonesian Inspiration for Building Foundation (YIIM) hopes that the programs implemented can provide real benefits, open up wider opportunities for independence for participants, and actively contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
