, JAKARTA – The Covid-19 pandemic is still hitting Indonesia. As a result, many small communities were affected, starting from job loss and reduced income.
In response to this, the Indonesian Inspiration for Building Foundation (YIIM) together with PT Insight Investment Management held training for underprivileged communities. Chairman of the YIIM Board, Chrisbiantoro, said that training participants who got good grades were awarded business equipment.
“Entrepreneurship training, starting from July to November 2020, we provided business equipment assistance to alumni,” said Chrisbiantoro in his statement, Friday (13/11).
According to him, assistance is given to alumni who meet the criteria according to the trainer’s recommendations and assessment scores during the training.
“Business equipment assistance provided to alumni includes Barista alumni, culinary training, alumni training in washing services and filling AC freon,” added Chrisbiantoro.
Apart from that, assistance is provided to clothing screen printing training alumni. The background of the recipients of business equipment assistance before attending the training consisted of residents of the Correctional Center (Bapas) (Bapas), underprivileged people, employees who had been laid off and casual workers.
“Entrepreneurship grant assistance is not in the form of money, but business tools, such as AC cleaning equipment, coffee business equipment, screen printing, culinary cooking equipment and hair shaving equipment,” explained Chrisbiantoro.
The handover of business equipment assistance was carried out at the YIIM Office, Gran Wijaya Center Complex Block F/62B, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta on Friday (13/11).
