The Indonesian Inspiration for Building Foundation (YIIM) together with PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) (INSIGHT) are always committed to supporting the strengthening of community independence through a series of inclusive and sustainable empowerment initiatives.

, JAKARTA – The humanitarian organization Indonesian Inspiration for Building Foundation (YIIM) provided hundreds of aid clothing for Covid-19 medical personnel at the Wisma Atlet Kemayoran Emergency Hospital, Central Jakarta.

YIIM Chairman Chrisbiantoro said that the hundreds of clothes were to relieve health workers who were struggling to treat patients exposed to Covid-19. “This assistance is a form of commitment to jointly strengthen communities affected by Covid-19,” said Chrisbiantoro in his statement, Wednesday (4/11).

YIIM also collaborated with PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) to hold social services to tackle Covid-19 by distributing 5,000 masks, 1,000 pieces of personal protective equipment (PPE), vitamins and internet quota assistance for teachers at 13 schools in Jabodetabek.

According to Chrisbiantoro, YIIM together with the private company PT Insight Investments moved quickly to support government programs by distributing social assistance throughout the archipelago. From September to early November, YIIM and PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) distributed aid to communities less affected by aid, the poor, the underprivileged, workers affected by layoffs and indigenous communities.

YIIM collaborates with local partners in each region to help collect data on aid recipients and distribute aid directly so that it is right on target. The aid distributed is 100 packages for native Papuan people in Ifale village, Sentani District, Papua, 150 packages for native Papuan people in Wamena District, Papua City, 100 packages for people in Pulau Batu District, Nias, North Sumatra.

Then, 100 packages for residents of Sigar Penjalin Village and Sigerongan Village, North Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, assistance for basic needs, one month’s electricity costs, school supplies for 16 children at the Gloria Matahit Orphanage in Talaud Regency, North Sulawesi.

Distribution of 100 packages to the Dayak indigenous community in Tering Baru Village and Kalian Luar Village, West Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan, 573 packages to flood, tsunami and earthquake victims in Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi, 100 packages to the community of Talepud Pujung Kaja Sebatu Traditional Village, Tegallalang District, Gianyar Regency, Bali. Then, 100 packages for people in four sub-districts, namely Godang, Ngambarkulon, Ngambarwetan, Ngunut, Mbawang, and Pojok. Distribution of 150 packages for victims of human rights violations under the auspices of the Aceh Province Truth and Reconciliation Commission, 100 packages for communities in North Wasilei, North Maluku Province, and 75 packages for communities in Lembata and Ende Flores, East Nusa Tenggara.

Meanwhile, PT Insight representative, Dwi Laksmi Anggita Sari, said that her party is focused on investment transformation that has a social impact on people who are experiencing economic difficulties. (cuy/jpnn)
