The spread of the corona virus or covid-19 in Indonesia, especially in DKI Jakarta, is of concern to the public.

It was recorded that there were 579 positive corona patients, with 49 people dying and 30 patients declared cured as of Tuesday (23/3/2020).

Regarding this matter, Chairman of the Management of the Indonesian Inspiration for Building Foundation (YIIM) Chrisbiantoro said that his party together with PT Insight Investment Management were called to tackle the spread of the corona virus.

On this occasion, YIIM distributed aid worth IDR 30 million through the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) South Jakarta and IDR 20 million through the National Zakat Amil Agency (BAZNAS).

He said the assistance would be used to procure disinfectants which would be used for spraying places of worship and public facilities.

“We are called to work together with all components of the nation, both government and private, to overcome the spread of COVID 19,” said Chrisbiantoro.

“Now is no longer the time to blame each other, but it is time for everyone to strengthen solidarity and solidarity so that the corona virus can be contained as quickly as possible and prevented from spreading further,” he added.

On the same occasion, Budy Cahaya as a representative of PT Insight Investment Management revealed that his party distributed assistance of IDR 100 million through the National Zakat Amil Agency (BAZNAS) and the Al Maghfirah Foundation.

It is said that this assistance will be used to procure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for medical personnel.

Because it is known that as many as six doctors and a number of nurses have died due to being infected with the corona virus.

“We as a company in the financial investment sector are called to work together to tackle the spread of the corona virus, hopefully our assistance will be useful in tackling the corona virus,” said Budy Cahaya.

Chrisbiantoro assessed that the cooperation shown by all parties in fighting the corona virus was an implementation of community protection.

“Through this assistance, hopefully more and more components of the Indonesian nation will be called to lend a helping hand to work together to overcome the corona virus pandemic,” said Chrisbiantoro.
