This time, YIIM collaborated with Titan Baking to hold Chicken Noodle Entrepreneurship training on Jalan Cikajang, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta on Thursday (27/2/2020).

In the training supported by PT Insight Investment Management, it was revealed that YIIM Secretary Dewi Astari invited 12 residents from various backgrounds.

They are said to come from residents of the Central Jakarta Correctional Center (Bapas) I, unemployed, casual workers, housewives and residents of the urban poor.

“This event is a batch 1 baking (cooking) training program for 2020 which is planned to be held four times throughout 2020,” said Dewi Astari in a written broadcast on Friday (28/2/2020).

In previous years, he continued, cooking training included making dry and wet cakes as well as marketing strategies.

So, said Dewi Astari, many of the alumni of the cooking training carried out by YIIM since 2016 already have independent cake businesses.

“YIIM believes that through the skills training it provides, it can create a society that is creative, innovative, independent and has a high work ethic and is able to give birth to superior entrepreneurs,” said Dewi Astari.

“YIIM is committed to assisting and delivering poor community groups to become competitive communities based on local resources,” he added.
