The Indonesian Inspiration for Building Foundation (YIIM) together with PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) (INSIGHT) are always committed to supporting the strengthening of community independence through a series of inclusive and sustainable empowerment initiatives.

To help students, especially at SDN 01 Curah Takir Jember, East Java, to expand their knowledge and knowledge through reading books, the Indonesia Inspiration Building Foundation (YIIM) inaugurated the library building, Friday (10/1/2020).

This 54 meter wide library was built from 17 November 2019 to 15 December 2019, located at PT Perkebunan Nusantara 12 Jember.

Apart from the library, YIIM also helped repair the roof and floor of the classrooms at SDN 01 Curah Takir.

“We as a social institution have a mission to help those who are less fortunate. Here we want to help elementary school students to open their knowledge horizons through books and libraries.” said YIIM Chairman Chrisbiantoro in his speech.

The presence of the library and school improvements carried out by YIIM received appreciation from the principal of SDN Curah Takir 01, Supriani.

“Thank you, I hope our school has better supporting facilities.” Supriani said hopefully.

Apart from the school principal, the Director of the Plantation Pension Fund (Dapenbun), Edwin Sinaga also appreciated the event of handing over library assistance. Meanwhile PT. Insight, represented by Didi, also expressed support for this event. These two companies are partners of YIIM.

Also attending this event were students, school principals, teachers and YIIM partners including the Plantation Pension Fund (DAPENBUN), PT. Insight Investment Management, representatives of PTPN 12 East Java, village heads, sub-district heads and other Muspika officials.

This activity is a form of the YIIM Foundation’s commitment to providing inspiration for development, especially in the field of education, where YIIM believes that by building a library building and providing facilities and infrastructure will help all students open wider knowledge horizons.

Previously, in 2019, YIIM had also helped build library buildings located in 14 remote areas in Sumatra, from Aceh to Lampung Province.

Through this synergy and initiative, the Indonesian Inspiration for Building Foundation (YIIM) hopes that the programs implemented can provide real benefits, open up wider opportunities for independence for participants, and actively contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
