Gempita Lunar New Year Nurtures Hope and Belonging at LPA Guna Nanda

In the spirit of celebrating Lunar New Year 2576 Kongzili, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) together with PT Insight Investments Management organized a warm community outreach event titled Gempita Imlek at the Guna Nanda Child Welfare Institution (LPA Guna Nanda) in East Jakarta.

The initiative was designed to bring joy, foster emotional well-being, and share essential aid with children, teenagers, and youth with special needs residing at the care institution.

The event featured interactive recreational games, sing-alongs, storytelling sessions, and motivational sharing. These activities provided a nurturing, cheerful space where children could freely express themselves and feel valued and supported.

YIIM and Insight also handed over packages of staple food, nutritious snacks, personal hygiene kits, and festive gifts to support the daily operational needs of LPA Guna Nanda.

This approach reflects YIIM’s belief that genuine care extends beyond material provision to include active listening, meaningful presence, and building an inclusive environment where every child feels loved and respected.

This initiative contributes to SDG 2: Zero Hunger through essential food support, SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being through emotional and psychosocial engagement, and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities by supporting children with disabilities and vulnerable youth. The partnership also advances SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

Through Gempita Imlek, YIIM hopes all participants feel empowered, valued, and confident in pursuing their dreams for a brighter future.

Inspiration Greetings!
