Highland farmers in Taji Village, Jabung, Malang Regency, East Java, now enjoy direct, safe access to regional trading centers following the completion of the Inspiration Bridge by the Indonesian Inspiration Building Foundation (YIIM) and PT Insight Investments Management.

Prior to the bridge’s construction, transporting freshly harvested Taji Arabica coffee cherries and perishable highland vegetables required hazardous journeys across an unstable ravine crossing. Heavy rains frequently rendered the route impassable, leading to spoilage and depressed farm-gate prices.

The newly engineered permanent steel bridge safely accommodates agricultural transport vehicles, enabling farmers to rapidly deliver produce to roasting facilities and urban wholesale markets across Malang and East Java.

Community leaders affirmed that the bridge has revitalized the local agro-economy, raised household incomes, and guaranteed safe daily travel for school children.

This program embodies impactful rural infrastructure synergy, contributing to SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 9: Infrastructure, SDG 11: Sustainable Communities, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
