The Indonesian Inspiration for Building Foundation (YIIM) supported by PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) is again providing a learning space for the younger generation through YIIM Webinar Series 1 with the theme “Personal Branding for a Growing Career.” This activity, which was held online on Saturday, March 7 2026, presented Suhariyanto Putra, Founder of the Tunas Bangsa Movement as well as HR and Career Coach, as a resource person.

Through this session, participants are invited to understand how personal branding can be an important foundation in their career journey. Based on his experience in the field of human resource development, Suhariyanto shares various perspectives and practices that can help the younger generation build a professional self-image that is relevant to the needs of today’s world of work.

In his presentation, Suhariyanto emphasized that personal branding is not just about how someone appears on social media, but rather how someone is known through the values, competence and integrity demonstrated in everyday professional life. He also highlighted the importance of a continuous self-development process through approaches such as coaching, mentoring and training as part of the professional journey.

Apart from that, participants also gained various practical insights regarding the use of social media as a means of building personal branding, especially through professional platforms such as LinkedIn. The resource person shared a number of tips for building a more strategic profile, expanding professional networks, and utilizing social media as a space to share knowledge and increase visibility in the world of work.

The discussion then developed into how personal branding not only impacts individuals, but is also related to organizational development and the quality of human resources more broadly. In this context, Suhariyanto explained that processes such as recruitment, training and performance evaluation are important parts in ensuring sustainable talent development within the organization.

This webinar was attended by 48 participants from various backgrounds, with the majority being students and young people who are preparing or just starting their career journey. Throughout the activity, participants showed high enthusiasm through interactive discussions and question and answer sessions with resource persons, which were used to dig deeper into various strategies for building personal branding and preparing themselves to face the dynamics of the world of work.

Through this activity, YIIM hopes that the younger generation will increasingly understand the importance of building a positive, professional self-image and have an impact on their career development.
