The Indonesia Building Inspiration Foundation (YIIM) together with PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) collaborated to support the construction of the An-Nur Insani Modern Islamic Boarding School located in Salatiga, Central Java. This program is part of YIIM’s commitment to strengthening the Social, Humanitarian & Religious pillars, as well as expanding access to quality education for orphans, orphans and poor people.

Salatiga City is known as an area with a majority Muslim population. However, adequate Islamic boarding school-based educational facilities in the area are still limited. This condition causes a lack of study space, places of worship, and facilities to support the teaching and learning process, especially for students from underprivileged families.

Responding to this need, the An-Nur Insani Islamic Education Foundation (YPI) initiated the construction of the An-Nur Insani Modern Islamic Boarding School. It is hoped that this development will be a solution for students to study in a safe, decent environment and support their spiritual and intellectual development.

Through this development, the benefits will be felt by more than 100 students, teachers and boarding school administrators, as well as local communities who want to send their children to modern Islamic boarding school-based educational institutions.

It is hoped that the synergy between YIIM, Insight and YPI An-Nur Insani will be a real step in opening wider access for poor students to obtain a decent education. The existence of this modern Islamic boarding school is not only a means of learning, but also a place for character development that plays a role in the progress of the surrounding community.

This program is a concrete manifestation of YIIM’s commitment to encouraging the growth of inclusive, quality and sustainable educational facilities for Indonesia’s young generation. Apart from that, this initiative is also in line with SDG 4: Quality Education, and supports Astacita Mission 4, namely increasing productivity for quality economic growth through providing healthy and representative learning spaces.
