Villages play a central and crucial role in national development, often considered the backbone of the country. Villages are the foundation of prosperity and places of sustainable development. Girimukti Village, Cilograng District, Lebak Regency, is an area that has many natural resources and human resources that have not been utilized optimally. The community faces various obstacles in accessing education, health, information and technology because it is located quite far from the city center and very limited infrastructure such as damaged roads and no internet access. There is still a high school dropout rate, the absence of community learning activity centers, low motivation to learn, lack of parental knowledge about the importance of education, low awareness of the economic potential of agriculture, and low awareness of environmental problems such as rubbish thrown into rivers or thrown into the back yard of the house which causes social conflict.

Through the pillars of the Community Empowerment Program, pillars of the Education Program and pillars of the Humanitarian Social Program, YIIM together with Insight IM are assisted by partners Antara Cipta Karsa Foundation (Yayasan Naratas) through their activity unit called “Gerakan Muda Cendikia” through the Garda Bersama Desa program Batch 5 supports sustainable village development by providing social assistance to children and the community in Girimukti Village, District

Cilograng, Lebak Regency, Banten Province. The target beneficiaries of the program are school children (SD/SMP/SMA), young men/women, farming communities, housewives and the entire Girimukti Village Community of Women.

The 5th Batch of 2025 Village Joint Guard Program was held on 20 July – 4 August 2025. Various social activities that have been carried out by YIIM together with Insight IM and Garda Scholar include tutoring training and workshops on literacy gardens and community reading gardens, village entrepreneurship training, local product processing workshops, socialization on sustainable agriculture, training in simple modern agricultural techniques, diversification of food crops, and Extension on Clean and Healthy Living (PHBS). A total of 300 direct beneficiaries and around 3,000 indirect beneficiaries benefited from the Village Joint Guard Program. This program supports increasing knowledge and quality of community education, the quality of community resources through strengthening literacy, encouraging community awareness of local economic potential, educating farmers about sustainable and innovative agricultural practices to increase productivity and welfare. This program is a form of Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) or corporate social responsibility (CSR) from Insight IM to the community. This activity is also part of the YIIM Education Program which is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDGs Number 1 concerning Eradicating poverty, Number 4 concerning ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and increasing opportunities for lifelong learning for all, Number 8 Decent Work and Economic Growth. YIIM as a non-profit organization is open to support and collaboration with any party so that more and more people can benefit from YIIM’s programs and the wider the inspiration that YIIM can spread to help develop Indonesia.
