On July 25 2024, the Indonesian Building Inspiration Foundation (YIIM) together with Insight Investments Management collaborated with the Carenang District Family Empowerment and Welfare Mobilization Team (TP-PKK) to provide material on “financial literacy: about how to manage finances well and correctly” in a regular meeting with PKK women which took place in the Carenang District Office Hall in Panenjoan Village, Carenang District, Serang Regency, Banten.

This event took place from 08.30 WIB to 12.00 WIB, where this event was attended by 57 PKK cadres from every village in Carenang District.

At the event, Mr. Drs. Arif Roikhan, M.Si as Head of Carenang Subdistrict and Mrs. Alvinna Amir, S.H. as Chair of the Carenang District TP-PKK, as well as the board of trustees & staff of the Indonesian Building Inspiration Foundation. The financial literacy material was delivered by two resource persons from representatives of Insight Investments Management, namely Mr Reyhan Adi Nugraha as Retail Sales, Distribution, and Business Alliances Associate Insight Investments Management and Mrs Alifah Ghina Maharani as Deputy Head of Retail Sales Insight Investments Management.

The event opened with the reading of the Yasin Letter together by PKK women. Then there was a speech from Mr. Arif Roikhan as Head of Carenang District. In his speech, Mr. Arif expressed his gratitude & gratitude to YIIM and INSIGHT representatives for their presence to deliver financial literacy material and hoped that PKK mothers could understand the material that would be presented. “I would like to thank YIIM & INSIGHT for having the opportunity to attend to provide financial literacy material at this regular meeting. I hope that PKK women can listen to the material that will be presented because this is very important for the well-being of our good and correct financial management.”

After the speech, the event continued with the presentation of material on financial literacy delivered by Mr. Reyhan Adi Nugraha entitled Financial Literacy Series: Social Impact Investing which discussed the importance of understanding and managing finances well which includes the ability to manage expenses, make long-term financial plans, and understand various financial products and also emphasized the risks of storing money in cash, such as physical damage and inflation, as well as providing safer alternatives.

YIIM as a non-profit organization is open to support and collaboration with any party so that more and more people can benefit from YIIM’s programs and the wider the inspiration that YIIM can spread to help develop Indonesia.
