The Indonesian Inspiration for Building Foundation (YIIM), through the Humanitarian and Religious Social Program supported by PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), plays an active role in providing humanitarian and religious social support. One of them is providing support for clean water through the construction of drilled wells at the Riyadhul Huffadz Islamic Boarding School, Sopa Village, Kindang District, Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi Province. This location is in an area that has difficulty supplying clean water during the dry season. The students and local residents are having difficulty finding clean water for their daily needs because the water sources in the area are experiencing drought

The process of procuring a drilled well for clean water began on March 5 2024 and was completed on March 20 2024. YIIM and PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) have provided assistance in constructing a drilled well at the Zaid bin Tsabit Islamic Boarding School. The drilled well has a depth of 40 meters and a tower with a clean water capacity of 5000 liters. Maintenance of drilled wells, whether machines or electricity supplies, will be the responsibility of the Islamic Boarding School administrators.

Before there was assistance in providing drilled wells, during the dry season teachers and students had difficulty getting clean water. After the assistance of the beneficiaries to obtain the availability of clean water during the dry season and on a daily basis, water needs can be met for the students and residents around the Islamic boarding school, health and welfare.

This program supports one of the government’s three priority programs, namely superior Human Resources (HR), where access to clean water and adequate sanitation are key factors determining the quality of a person’s health. This program is also in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDGs no. 3 concerning health, namely ensuring healthy living and improving health/well-being at all ages and SDGs no. 6 ensuring the availability and sustainable management of clean water and sanitation for all and SDGs no. 17 concerning partnerships to achieve goals.

YIIM is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people from various circles, founded by social and humanitarian activists. To realize this goal, YIIM is open and open to all forms of cooperation, support and donations from all groups so that it can be distributed to beneficiaries in need.
