On Thursday 28 March 2024, the Indonesian Building Inspiration Foundation (YIIM) supported by PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) (INSIGHT) held a social activity to share iftar packages, takjil and free shaving in the month of Ramadhan with the theme Gempita Ramadhan for residents of the Pondok Pinang scavenger village located at Gang Kenanga Jl. Kenanga, RT 01/RW 08, Pondok Pinang, Kebayoran Lama District, South Jakarta City, DKI Jakarta.

This Ramadhan social activity distributed 100 packages of rice boxes for breaking the fast, 100 packages of takjil, 100 glasses of palm sugar milk coffee from emphatee coffee and free shaving for 25 scavengers. This activity involved 2 barbershop training alumni under YIIM-PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), namely Ageng Patmoko (2018 training alumni/Owner of Optima 73 Barbershop) and Anang Ardiansyah (2023 training alumni/Barbercut Barbershop employee).

Meanwhile Mr. Chrisbiantoro as Chairman of the YIIM Management said:

“Hopefully this free iftar and takjil package as well as shaving can provide a little relief to the residents of Pondok Pinang scavenger village. This activity is a routine activity held during the month of Ramadan, hopefully this program will always provide blessings around us.”

Then, from representatives of the residents of the Pondok Pinang Gang Kenanga scavenger village, added:

“We are very grateful to YIIM and PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) for the assistance with fast breaking and takjil packages as well as free shaving”

This event is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (Sustainable Development Goals/SDGs) program, especially SDGs Number 2 concerning Preventing Hunger.

This Ramadhan social assistance program is the first part of a series of programs for the month of Ramadhan in 2023 with the theme Gempita Ramadhan and has taken place in several locations in the provinces of DKI Jakarta, Depok City, Yogyakarta and Madura. Where various forms of activities have been carried out, including; sharing packages for breaking the fast, takjil, compensation, basic necessities, worship equipment, free washing and AC service at mosques and orphanages, and free hair shaving.

YIIM as a non-profit organization is open to support and collaboration with various parties so that more people can benefit from YIIM’s programs and the wider the inspiration that YIIM can spread to help develop Indonesia.
