On February 6 2024, the Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) again collaborated with Titan Baking to hold culinary training using the Demo Baking method with Bakpia Cheese and Klepon Cheesecake menus.

On February 6 2024, the Indonesian Building Inspiration Foundation (YIIM) again collaborated with Titan Baking to hold culinary training using the Demo Baking method with Bakpia Cheese and Klepon Cheesecake menus. One of the great spirits of this program is as a form of strengthening cooking skills for YIIM MSME alumni.
This baking demo was carried out in the Titan Baking kitchen located at Titan Baking Fatmawati Jl. RS. Fatmawati Raya No. 51B, West Cilandak, Cilandak, South Jakarta. YIIM previously collaborated with Titan Baking in 2019 and 2020 with a total of 39 culinary training beneficiaries and currently they are opening various businesses in the field of dry and wet cakes and various types of snacks in the Jakarta and surrounding areas. There are even alumni from this program who have become trainers or mentors for culinary classes, namely Mrs. Wanmayetty.
A total of eight YIIM alumni beneficiaries with backgrounds consisting of underprivileged communities and friends with disabilities (deaf and quadriplegic).
Training Materials
Cooking Demo entrepreneurship training starts at 10.00 WIB. The training was led by Chef Iman and Chef Rega. The first session, Chef taught how to make Klepon Cheesecake, starting from introducing raw materials to processing techniques. Next, participants were taught the second recipe, namely Bakpia Cheese.
During the event, the participants were very interactive and also asked many questions directly to Chef Iman and Chef Rega. Apart from that, participants were also given the opportunity to practice making Bakpia Cheese skin. One of the participants from deaf friends (deaf friends), namely Mrs. Siti Hodijah, asked Chef what tips he had for making bakpia skin if there were no tools. This shows Mrs. Siti’s enthusiasm, even though her limitations do not hinder her enthusiasm for learning at the cooking training held by YIIM and TITAN BAKING. To provide rewards to participants who actively ask questions and participate in the training, participants are given goodie bags and shopping vouchers that can be used to purchase training materials so that participants can practice at home.
YIIM is committed to assisting and delivering underprivileged community groups and groups of people with disabilities to become competitive communities based on local resources. As a non-profit organization, the Indonesian Inspiration for Building Foundation is very open to all parties who wish to support the YIIM program.
Salam Inspirasi!
