On Thursday, November 2 2023, located at Kebun Gedeh, Cianjur. As a form of commitment to realizing social responsibility to society, the environment and stakeholders, the Indonesian Inspiration Building Foundation (YIIM) together with PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) (PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT)) and Dana Pensiun Perkebunan (DAPENBUN) held the Inauguration of the Construction of Tunas Karya Kindergarten, located at Jl. Sukamulya, District. Cugenang, Kab. Cianjur, West Java.

The construction of this kindergarten is a form of PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT)’s Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) and in collaboration with DAPENBUN and PT Nusantara Niaga Agro (PT NNA) for the community around Kebun Gedeh, Cianjur, after the earthquake on November 21 2022. Construction began in June 2023.

This activity was attended by SEVP Asset Management PT Perkebunan Nusantara VIII Mr Dian Hadiana Arief, DAPENBUN Operational Director Mr Hudi Prihmono, Main Director PT NNA Mr Ki Agus Riki Ridwan Rahman, CSR Coordinator PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) Mr Isnaeni, YIIM Secretary Mr Imam Fadchurrodzi, Manager of Kebun Gedeh Mr Mochamad Mulyadi, as well as students and Tunas Karya Kindergarten Teacher.

The event was opened by dance performances from Tunas Karya Kindergarten students and students, followed by remarks from SEVP Asset Management PTPN VIII, Operational Director DAPENBUN, Main Director PT NNA, and Representatives from PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) and YIIM.

In his speech, Mr. Hudi Prihmono as DAPENBUN’s Director of Operations said, “Thank God, after 4 months of ongoing construction, today we can all inaugurate the results of the construction of Tunas Karya Kindergarten,”

Before the relocation and construction took place, the post-earthquake Tunas Karya Kindergarten building was so badly damaged that it was unfit for use for the learning process. After relocation and construction assistance carried out by YIIM, PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), and DAPENBUN, 1 (one) unit of a new Kindergarten School building has been provided and PLN electricity has been installed, consisting of: 2 (two) Classrooms separated by a wooden partition wall which, if the partition is opened, the Classroom can function as a Hall, 1 (one) Teacher’s Room, 1 (one) Library Room, 1 (one) Kitchen Room, 2 (two) Bathrooms/Toilets.

This education program is also in line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Number 4 concerning support for quality education, and Number 17 concerning partnerships to achieve the goals. It is hoped that with the official opening of the Tunas Karya Kindergarten building, it can continue teaching and learning activities for students and kindergarten teachers with full safety, comfort and feasibility.
