On Monday to Tuesday, 26-27 June 2023, the Indonesian Building Inspiration Foundation (YIIM) supported by PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) in collaboration with the Coordinating Board of the Indonesian Mosque Council’s Taklim Council (BKMM) Bekasi City held a social entrepreneurship training program in cooking skills using the Frozen Food technique for members of the Bekasi City BKMM and the Pre-Prosperous community.

The training was held in 2 batches. The first Batch of training will be on June 26 2023 with a menu of Chicken Gordon Blue and Tofu Meatballs with 15 participants. The second Batch of training on June 27 2023 with a menu of Chicken Egg Roll and Dimsum with 15 participants. The total number of participants who took part was 30 women who were members of the Bekasi City BKMM consisting of representatives of 2 people per sub-district in Bekasi City. The training event was held at the Diah Mandiri Toys Doll Factory Hall located at Jalan Narogong KM 11.5 RT 02/RW 08, Bantargebang Village, Bantar Gebang District, Bekasi City, which was held from 09.00 to 12.30 WIB. The Frozen Food cooking training trainers are Mrs. Wanmayetti as the main trainer and Mrs. Umaroch as the assistant trainer.

In this event, an opening activity was held which was attended by Mr. Chrisbiantoro as Chairman of the YIIM Management, Mr. Isnaeni Setiawan as the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Coordinator of PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), Mrs. Siti as the Bekasi City BKMM Management, and Mrs. Masyitoh as the YIIM Board of Trustees.

The activity began with opening remarks from Mr. Chrisbiantoro as Chairman of the YIIM Management. He said, “We, YIIM, supported by our partner PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), this time are holding a series of social entrepreneurship training for the women of the taklim assembly members of the Bekasi City BKMM. Our hope is of course that all mothers can gain knowledge and experience so they can build independence for both communities and individuals. Hopefully this program will be useful for all mothers.”

Then Mr. Isnaeni Setiawan as the CSR Coordinator of PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) on this occasion said: “PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) according to its tagline investments to social impact invites people to invest while providing social impact to society. We together with YIIM consistently hold activities like this so that CSR funds can have a real impact on community independence.”

Furthermore, Mrs. Siti as the Management of BKMM Bekasi City said, “Thank you to YIIM and PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) who have collaborated with BKMM Bekasi City to build a mental independence for our members. The Frozen Food training is part of a series of our collaboration programs with YIIM and PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), previously we held cooking and baking training. Hopefully this training can help our fellow members to be more independent”

In this event, YIIM, PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), and BKMM Bekasi City have collaborated together to hold a series of planned community empowerment program activities in the form of training in making dry and wet cakes and training in frozen food cooking. In the near future there will be sewing training and social entrepreneurship management held throughout 2023.

This activity is in line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Number 1 concerning fighting poverty, Number 8 concerning decent work and economic growth, and Number 17 concerning partnerships to achieve the goals.

As a non-profit organization, YIIM is very open to all parties who wish to support or make donations in any form. Because every donation given to YIIM will be distributed directly to the rightful beneficiaries.
