Clean Water Borehole Well Serves 50 Families in East Aceh
YIIM and Insight completed a clean water borehole facility in East Aceh, providing 50 rural households with safe, reliable water for drinking and daily sanitation.
In response to prolonged drought and water scarcity, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) and PT Insight Investments Management constructed a clean water borehole facility in East Aceh Regency, Aceh.
The facility includes a deep borehole well, solar/electric pumping system, high-capacity water tower, and communal distribution outlets serving 50 rural families.
Access to safe groundwater eliminates reliance on contaminated surface water, substantially improving family hygiene and community health standards.
This initiative advances SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being and SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation.
