On Thursday, 13 March 2025, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) and PT Insight Investments Management continued the GEMPITA Ramadan program by providing iftar meals for children from low-income families at Sekolah Kita Rumpin.

Sekolah Kita Rumpin is a free alternative school serving children in the remote suburban community of Cibitung Hamlet, Rumpin District, Bogor Regency, West Java. Its students are between seven and 17 years old, and three volunteer teachers from different backgrounds provide instruction without payment.

The handover took place at the school. The activity opened with a Quran recitation, followed by remarks from Neneng, representing Sekolah Kita Rumpin. She thanked YIIM and Insight for sharing their support and expressed hope that the assistance would benefit recipients and bring blessings to the donors.

Fifty people received iftar packages. After the handover, the children, school managers, volunteers, and program representatives broke their fast together.

The activity formed part of YIIM’s Social, Humanitarian, and Religious program. It responded to immediate food needs while recognizing the important work of volunteer educators serving children in a remote area.

The initiative contributes to SDG 2: Zero Hunger and represents the continuing commitment of YIIM and Insight to deliver practical support in communities across Indonesia. The partners hoped the program would inspire more people to share with vulnerable children and families.
