The Indonesian Inspiration for Building Foundation (YIIM) together with the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) (LPSK) are always committed to supporting the strengthening of community independence through a series of inclusive and sustainable empowerment initiatives.

| Denpasar – As mandated by Law No. 31 of 2014 concerning amendments to Law No. 13 of 2006 concerning Protection of Witnesses and Victims, LPSK is given the authority to provide fulfillment of victims’ rights, one of which is providing psychosocial rehabilitation.

Psychosocial rehabilitation is a form of service that aims to restore the victim’s social function so that they can interact naturally in their social environment. These services can be in the form of business capital assistance, business development training, education, or employment.

To realize psychosocial rehabilitation, LPSK cannot follow up alone so it collaborates with parties who are in accordance with the psychosocial needs of the victims. In this case, LPSK together with the Indonesian Building Inspiration Foundation (YIIM) will hold a workshop on Economic Empowerment of Victims by Providing Cosmetology and Culinary Skills to victims of criminal acts who are protected by LPSK.

This is intended as a recovery step so that victims become empowered again, especially economically, so they can return to their normal activities in their social environment. Which was held on the grounds of the Bali Province Governor’s Office.

Through this synergy and initiative, the Indonesian Inspiration for Building Foundation (YIIM) hopes that the programs implemented can provide real benefits, open up wider opportunities for independence for participants, and actively contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
